Well, this is my first request for a mod to the game. I want the battleship to be able to bombard units outside of the city and other sea units. Right now, as it is, a battleship or destroyer can only bombard city defenses...and that's it. I think that is lame. A bomber has the ability to bombard units out in the open anywhere from one to several tiles away. So, somehow the battleship needs a similar ability, IMO. Only that bombard range should be 1-2. From what I've looked at, one would have to add a button for that, since with the bomber, it is not a bombard button but air strike button.

Sorry, but this can only be done through the SDK.

I hope I'm not stepping outside the bounds of my NDA, but this feature (as well as land-based unit field bombardment) should be available as soon as the SDK is released. ;)
