Is that the civ3mod.bic file. If not I do not show a civ3mod.bic file at all.

Yup, thats the one and only Civ3mod.bic that comes with the game ;)

even though the file does not have the .bic extension ,so how would you rename it. civ3modorg.? with no .bic added? Would that be OK?

In all probability, it does have the extension, but your box is set to hide extensions if it recognizes the file type. Now, if only they'd come out with an editor for the Mac...
