I had to remove my ATI drive (the Radeon 9550) (256 MB) and am now using an Nvidia Gforce 4 MX (???? MB)


I have 512 MB Ram

AMD Athalon 3000+ Processor 2.?? Ghz Processor
512 MB Ram


The game is choppy and slow. IS this because of the video card mess or should I upgrade my Ram??

GF4MX is like 2x slower than Radeon9550

So will this all be fixed with a patch? I've tried all the drivers stuff to no avail, and may darn well just buy a BFG - GeForce FX 5500 OC Graphics Card from Best Buy unless they come out with a patch by the weekend.

Will upgrading the Ram help at all or will it run smoothly once they adress the whole ATI thing and I can use my ATI Radeon 9550?

Using a 5500 and it lags something awful. It's at least two seconds between click and response and scrolling across the screen is a nightmare, jagged, jerky jumps all the way.
