Hi,
What exactly are "trade routes"? For example, the Free Market Civic gives "+1 trade routes per city". What exactly does that mean?
Thanks,
z.

If you look in the city screen, on the top left are 'trade routes'. They are basically income streams, with the amount of income being determine by the cities they are connected to and teh distance (I think)...
Basically, an extras trade route means more income / city.

I also noticed though that one of the automations for workers is "construct trade routes" or something...
so ya, I too wonder how exactly this works out

That option let worker make sure all the trade resources / cities are connect before they do anything else.
