ok, well trying chagne land plots to ocean this is the end result i get.

why does the outline on the land still show plus why are the waves in the middle on that part of the ocean?

Looks like they could be shallows or something maybe...
Are their different brushes for how deep the ocean will be? If there is a brush that gives a deeper ocean you should try that. Otherwise I have no idea.

You're not alone.. I've been really fustrated over that too.. it seems that the shadow from hills and mountains remain there even after you turn it into an ocean tile..

Does it stay that way if you save and re-load? If it's purely a graphical issue (the game draws shadows for the mountains, you remove the mountains but the shadows stay), then it should clear when you do that. But if it's an actual coded thing, we'd have bigger problems.

yea it does clear. now how do I save the map so you can use it when playing a custom game, so it appears in the map drop down in the custom game setup.
