What are the thoughts on another MTDG game?
Do we wait to get a handle on the mechanics and let people get the game in hand first?
I'd think we maintain the existing teams and add new players to both forums.
Thoughts?

Bringing this to your attention in case you haven't seen it (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=133843).

Basically, we are waiting until (a) most people have it, (b) a patch is released (this may not be important, it depends), and (c) we have a general understanding of the game.

Regarding teams, I wouldn't keep them the same. Sure I would let people on teams stay together if they wish, but I wouldn't force them because not everyone from the 3MTDG will head to the 4MTDG - and maybe they want a different experience.

A MTDG in the new year sounds good ... I'm in even if I'm only rudimentary used to the game ... what a wonderful opportunity to discover a new game in a team environment :D

And where will Civ4 MTDG be discussed? In the Multiplayer forum, in the Demogame forum, or as a subforum of either one?

Most likely as a subforum of this one.

Yeah, if/when one opens for discussion (most likely January 1st or later), it'll be a subforum, just like the Civ3 one.

I'll be there for sure.
