Ok

Now that i can work around the problems in th World Editor i was wondering if it is possiable to create a plain a simple map, not a scenario. i mean i want to create a map for when creating a custom game i what my map to appear in the map drop down list. i noticed that on the .py are the only things that show up in th emap drop down box.

the reason i ask if this is possible is becuase i want to creat a world map myself but i my want to play with 6 or 7 or 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, or even 18 or maybe even less or maybe i want to disable space race for 1 game or other setting. thinking of that the are 100's of posibilities and i down want to recreate the map for X amount of # of players i may want ands setting for each.

I think what you want is to create a custom game, don't use the play now option.

i know that and i start a custom game but when i save the map is only appears in scenario's not in the dropdowm bar for map in custom game, i want it to appear with Archipelago, balanced, contnents, custon_continents, etc...

The items in the drop down box are custom map scripts (in python) that randomly generate a map each time you play on it.

so there is no way of playing the same map with with different setting up i manual change the file?

i think u can edit the xml and modify the settings from there.

yea, i know, just a pain to edit it everytime i want to chage something.
