HI i am new to civ 3 and i am just learning... i want to edit the maps i make and make the other civilizaitions less agressive... thats all right now....

but if i just make it use its own rules and not the default rules then it makes the tech tree look very odd and you can't click on anything...

Have you installed the patch? This is a known bug that the patch is suppose to fix.
