View Full Version : Do mods load with save games? hotcoffeedude Oct 29, 2005, 10:53 AM ..Or do you have to pick the mod and restart the game each time you load a game that was started with a mod selected? tofof Oct 29, 2005, 11:03 AM They do load with savegames automatically - the save file stores what mod (mods? not sure if multiple ones can be active), and asks to restart and load the mod so you can load the savegame. However, I ran into a problem with it trying to choose the wrong path. See http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?p=3229464 for my description of the problem and a temporary solution. dalek master Oct 29, 2005, 11:31 AM I depends on what mod you talk about. If you add a new civ I doubt it will be in pre-mod games, but if you alter the civopedia I would guess (don't...... have...... civ4.) it will work for the saved game. tofof Oct 30, 2005, 11:30 PM I think the OP is referring to the fact that you have to manually load mods every time you start civ4, not about whether mods will work retroactively with non-mod savegames. Getting tired of the people without civ4 answering questions... dalek master Oct 31, 2005, 09:31 AM I think the OP is referring to the fact that you have to manually load mods every time you start civ4, not about whether mods will work retroactively with non-mod savegames. Getting tired of the people without civ4 answering questions... grrrrrrrr....... I'll do some answering when I get civ4 I will! And you will be asking them! bwahahahahaha! :joke: |
