Awesome. Definitely a complete improvement from your previous version, and one of your best leaderheads so far (though it's becoming more and more difficult to tell which one is your best right now)
BTW; is there the possibility of you sending me the texture you're using on this leaderhead? Not only the one with the moustache painted on, but also the base texture, since it looks so great (and less reddish than the one I use)

Vlad "the impaler's" father was inducted into the order of dracul when fighting the turks I believe. Dracula means son of dracul.

I'd rather not have him look like Dracula... Count Dracula is a fictional character without any solid historical reference. I like the industrial rendition with the fur hat.

Very nice this modern guy. He looks smart, yet devious. I like that, it epitomizes the character of Vlad Tepes, IMO.

Interestingly enough, I'm doing some research on the history of the vampire myths in literature, history and culture this semester. It's quite surprising to learn that Vlad Tepes has nothing to do with Dracula. Why, you will ask?

When Abraham Stoker wrote his novel that later became famous as "Dracula" he finished his story of the "serbian vampire" and baptised it "Lord Vampire". Not quite a catchy title, huh?

Bram went to his favourite library where he looked in some old books for a better title. While he was reading, he found a name that he mistook for the serbian word for "devil", "dracul". Happy to have a new title, he just renamed his book without even knowing whose name he just borrowed.

In reality, "dracul" was a title of honor, given to fighters of the so-called Order of the dragon that fought the Ottomans.

Not quite that romantic, right? ;)

I hate Halloween, but... WOW :eek:! Awesome work, Shiro! The only thing I don't like about it, is that the moustache doesn't seem to fit to an ancient Dacian. A full beard would be better IMHO. On the other hand, I understand if you want to keep the moustache througout the eras.

what do you think? Since Vlad was Dracula son of Dracul (dragon) and part of the order of the dragon. I put one of the crests on his suit.

modern era is always the hardest, i dont have any good suit props, and im usually too lazy to make one in photoshop. Regardless i think this one turned out very nice. With the last 2 Vlads I made I was always dissapointed in my work. This time I think I did Romania a good head.

How can I use Ruler Vlad Dracul in my C3C and replace a civ from there with a Romanian/Dacian one?
Please help. Romania/Dacia should be an agricultural and religious or commercial civ.

PS. And in the last era, vald is better devilishly smyling.
