How to wake up a bunch of city defenders? Thanks!

Alt-click will group them all together. Then you can click the wake button. Then grab the unit you want if you don't want to keep them all grouped up. Alternatively, you can enable the right click menu from the options screen. Then you can right click on the city and select "wake all".

shift+left click and you can select each unit you want to include in the stack under city view
