On my machine I think the scrolling speed is unacceptably slow, am I just too demanding or are your machines getting much better performance than mine.

Try the following experiment, position the cursor at the left edge of the screen and time in seconds how long it takes for the game to scroll all the way around the world and return to the starting point.

17.5 seconds overheadview (almost smooth)
24 seconds default zoom (jerky)
50 seconds full zoom in (almost smooth)

My machine AMD64 55-FX with 1 gig of RAM and 2 x 6600GT 128m cards in SLI mode. Screen Resolution is 1280 x 1024 all graphic options maxed out.

I get:
13 seconds overheadview (almost smooth)
20 seconds default zoom (jerky)
40 seconds full zoom in (almost smooth)

My specs:
Athlon64-3000
1 GB
Radeon x800XL 256MB

I wonder if this game is SLI compatable if it isnt that would probably explain the difference.

Just checked the game does support SLI.

Guess what I turned all the graphics down to low quality and set the anti aliasing to 0 and the result was zilch exactly the same performance figures as before. This is a classic indication that the game is having a problem with my system and I am no where near the performance edge for my computer. :mad:
