Mork Jan 04, 2002, 04:42 PM I tryed to make them a little bit more realistic.
Simply unzip the attached file in folder : art/units/paratrooper
Make sure to make a backup copy before. :D
Version 1 removed after 239 downloads
paratrooper11.zip includes the updated ParatrooperDrop.flc
Ohwell Jan 04, 2002, 04:50 PM Hmm! Great idea! Im sure they will look better than the current color, whatever it is.
wunder Jan 09, 2002, 09:55 AM This makes them look allot more realistic. I really didn't like the grey paratroopers.
Just would like to know how you were able to change the colour? Palettes?
Mork Jan 09, 2002, 12:18 PM Yes, I simply changed the grey colors in the palette to green.
All I needed for that was this really great FLICster utility from Moeniir and Paint Shop Pro.
Moeniir Jan 09, 2002, 02:03 PM aw, gee, shucks...
For those who haven't seen it yet...
Hoe Maco Feb 05, 2002, 10:25 AM Hello,
If that image posted in the previous reply is correct,
it seems to me that some shades of grey had not been
converted to green, which makes it look not the best.
How about that?
Mork Feb 06, 2002, 02:25 PM I fixed the problem with the unconverted grey pixels.
Looks better now !
Here is an updated version of the PARATROOPERDROP.FLC file.
Kal-el Mar 31, 2002, 12:44 AM mork,
Love the unit, but could you make the helmet a civ specific color beret?
That would be very cool.:goodjob:
Elucidus Mar 31, 2002, 01:48 PM I think that is an excellent idea, Kal-el
Rain Mar 31, 2002, 01:50 PM looks much better than the current michelin men from the sky
Bobby Lee Oct 19, 2002, 03:48 PM It would also be great if the red stuff on the front was switched to sum shade of green or sumthin. It seems really odd against the green and makes me think christmas. (dont get me wrong i love christmas i just would rather that those scumbags across the border dont associate me with happy thoughts)
recon1591 Oct 19, 2002, 05:28 PM the red areas are the civ spec. colors.
