The guy is korean - I think the webmaster of that civ3 club his signature url points to, which explains why the maps looks so much like those starcraft battle maps.

I was thinking of making an unconventional map like this, so it has a more 'board game' flavor.

BTW, I hear that Starcraft is HUGE in Korea, they even have live stage shows, dancers, warehouse parties and TV shows all based on Starcraft.

A few days ago, ESReality members declared the greatest gamer of all time, BoxeR. Following this amazing poll, his pro gaming team 4U have signed a new sponsorship contract with South-Koreas biggest tele company, SK Telekom.

This deal is set to be the most valuable ever in korean gaming history, with the phone company being the company to sponsor any gaming team before, which will mean that the team will have the most amount of money to spend compared to all the other esports teams around.

The team's star player, BoxeR, will recieve a giant contract which many predict wis well over 200 000 $. This is the same sum that Nal_rA got for joining KTF (Koreas 2nd biggest tele company ) not so long time ago.




BTW, 4U also got an apartment in Seoul (downtown = VERY EXPENSIVE), 12 or 16 ( dont remember wich) seat truck, and some other things :P.

Reminds me of $$$Fastest Possible Map Ever$$$ from SC. Easy to see how each civ can just shut itself in its "Continent" like a turtle and sit the rest of the game out inr elative safety. Except turtling isn't really an option in Civ3
