Here is my new game. It is on a large map with 13 civs(agressive ai) on prince difficulty. I am playing on Archipalego or however it is spelled.

As you can see below, ive discovered Buddhism. Wish me luck

So far things are going pretty well. I have spread Buddhism to all 3 of my cities and to two of the Russian cities. I have found many islands where i can expand on. I have quite a few resources on my land as well as sea squares. I hope the AI is smart enough to know he has to build cities on all of the islands at the start. I hope he just doesnt sit on his own like a dud. I am playing with agressive AI and so far i havent seen any agressiveness. The only difference i have seen is that i am +1 with relations with the Aztecs and they are annoyed at me istead of cautious. If they wont be aggressive i geuss thats means ill just have to be more agressive.

Well it appears the agressive AI is true. The aztecs declared war on me. They landed 2 axmen next to toledo and captured it. I was able to take it back the next turn. It was one of my new cities. Also other good news: the russians have already settled on another island so that answers that question of mine. I just hope the AI is agressive with each other as well rather than just me.

In other news i made contact witht he japanese and greeks. Buddhism spread on its own to the Japanese and Aztecs. I have yet to make a missionary. I now have 5 cities. I have a source of iron and horses on my mainland which i have not yet connected. I dont think i will be going to war with the Russians anytime soon. I have a +7 with them but who knows they are on agressive.

All and all i think this is a very interesting game. There will be lots of island hopping war. Kinda like WW2 vs the japanese. Everyone will need a strong army and a strong navy. Lots of wars cuz of the agressive ai.

Things have changed yet again. The war against the aztecs was a success. As you will see below i have conquered one of their cities. I met yet another civilization. The greeks turned their religion to buddhism but later on they declared war on me. I am now at war with 2 civs now. The greeks landed with 2 axemen which were easily repelled. I then sunk his galleys.

I now have 8 cities. I have about 4-5 galleys to protect my oceans. My army consists heavily of axemen(to fight other units) and swordsman to invade the cities. Havent ran into anyone with horses yet. I will soon be getting war elephants. The greeks are too far away for me to even bother with. I may just keep at war with the aztecs untill i conquer their cities. If i make peace with them it will only be if they give me technologies.

Let me know what you guys think. Plus let me know if agressive AI means just against me or just in general.

Well i have finished conquering the three aztec cities next to my mainland. They have another city off the the northeast. Im not worried about them anymore. I may concentrate on the Germans next.

the highre the difficulty the more they fight..

I was just saying that they are on agressive and i barely see a difference. There are currently 2 wars going on between the AI finally. I have discovered all the civilizations except one. I far exceed all the other civs in score. The most interesting war right now are between the Americans and Incans who are bordered next to each other.

Im not able to tell yet. :( Im not able to see the war between the greeks and persians though. Im kind of disappoint that the civ with the 2nd highest score only has 4 cities. Maybe i just need to increase the difficulty more.

i think you should try to conquor the Russians, if you can do that and occupie al of there cities you have 3 holy cities, and so 41% of influes at your 'controle/advantage' and that against only 18% of the other religions altough i don't understand why that stops at 59%??

Yep, this difficulty seems to be too easy for you. Next I would like to see you to conquer the Russians then the Japanese, that would great! Anyway keep up the great work!!! :goodjob:
