i was just wondering if anyone knows if its possible to mod the AI in this game? if so would it be possible to make the ai more generous towards the player when they are on friendly or pleasing terms. i find that the current ai is real shady and never wants to give anything in return and is always asking for favors, despite the fact that i am always giving them free techs when they ask and helped them several wars.

Not yet, but they'll be releasing the code that controls the AI in January.

Yes it is possible.
It though requires have the API and C++ knowledge to do it.
Eventually, probably many moons from now, some expert civer will do it.
Maybe even make a [hint] editor to make it easier for laypeople.

Of course I thought "artificial intelligence" but I also though of a different meaning.
