Hey all,

Unfortunately for me i use a router which has a hardware firewall, and that blocks my internet games. I know how to configure the router to let me pay online but i cant find the ports that civ4 uses.

Anyone know them?

Look at the config file (CivilizationIV.ini or the Civ4Config shortcut in the game folder) there is a line "Port =" with the port number. I changed mine so I can't tell you the default number.

yes, one port is usually enough ;)

I believe the default port is 2056.

Both my housemate and myself play from behind the same firewall. If we both have different port numbers, I can set up port-forwarding appropriately, and we can both play online in the same game ?
