During my game my capital city (100% my nationality) was receiving 7 unhappiness as a size 23 city due to war weariness. The only problem with that is I was running police state and according to the civilopedia there is not supposed to be any war weariness. Has anyone else encountered this problem or know if the civilopedia is wrong?

I may be wrong here (I'm not near the game now) but I thought Police State only lowered war-weariness, not eliminated it...reducted by 25% or somesuch...

Police state: +25% military unit production, -50% war weariness. The longer the war the more unhappy your people get.

Your right that is what the manual says but take a look at the civics screen which appears to me to say no unhappiness due to war which means someone dropped the ball.

Hmmm, Well looks like they caught their own mistake. Maybe they will correct that with the first patch because I have the US version.

Actually, today I adopted Police State, had a war, then came back to change to Univ. Suff. And guess what? It suddenly said "No War " like in your screenshot! Then after the revolution was finished, I went back and then it once again said "-50% War ".

What gives?
