Whenever I try to create an account for online play, I keep getting a failed login attemp error. I then tried to go gamespy's website and create an account, and log in with that account, and I got a fail to login attemp error. What am I doing wrong? Is there a way to reinstall gamespy from the civ4 disc? Do I have to open any ports on my router? Strangely, according to zonealarm, civ4 hasn't even asked for internet access.

when i tried to Create an Account, i noticed i can't type into the fields in the form. nothing, no go.
same for the Login popup, no letters will show there.

EDIT: i created an account on gamespyid.com (and yes, i confirmed the email) and i CAN now type in the Login popup - but i get "not a valid account"
btw, gamespyarcade.com doesn't list civIV as a supported game in the alphabetical list - gamespy.com has an ad saying PLAY CivIV NOW, which is a spamvertisement linking to the download site, NOT online gaming.
