The manual says to press Ctrl + # to save the production queue of a city. It doesn't work. PLEASE fix. :)

Here's what is happening with mine:
After I save a production queue via "ctrl + #key" I hit that same number on the same city or a different city and random units come up in the building queue. When I played as Americans I got units like "fast worker" or "red coats" in the build queue.

PS I am using patch 1.09

It works for Units but not buildings for me :( and since I tend to need loading of ques for building way more than unit... I reported this in the bugs thread before patch came out...

I was thinking they weren't so random... more like 3rd builing = 3rd unit of the master list or able to build list not sure which, but it been consistant on my end.

I get the same thing with the random filling of units. I'm playing American, and I have a Japanese Samurai in my queue.

Any idea what's wrong?

Well, I have a completely vanilla 1.52 version and a computer that exceeds any requirements that Fraxis could come up with and it DOESN'T work for me. I have spent about 5 hours searching this crazy forum and yours is the first post to even mention it....AAAHHHHHH!:mad:
