Having already achieved space race, diplomatic, and timed victories I turned those options off and went for a cultural victory. I finally achieved it around 2025, only to see the message "Your movies are not installed correctly" followed by the all-too-frequent crash-to-desktop. Had not received such a message when achieving the other victory types. Very odd.

(FWIW, I'm one of the "can only see 2 food per tile, stuttering sound, memory leaks, have to reboot periodically" crowd.)

Yesterday I had a cultural victory (3x75000 :eek: ) and
there was a movie at the end.
