I'm playing the game as the Mongols, and have recently seen a very strange barbarian behavior. A barb warrior unit was created just above my city. He took one move toward my city, then turned around the next turn. He repeatead this process about three times before I started taking pics. (see below pics) I hope this isn't intentional, though it's hilarious to think of a barbarian horde debating on whether to attack the Mongol capitol.

It's a common misconceptions. Barbarians aren't cold, heartless beings. They are people too, and are entitled to feelings of joy, happiness, anger, and empathy.

I wish i had that problem... they attacked me in hordes... in the early game i had to make it a point to search out their cities and take them over one by one so they would stop sending in waves of 5 at a time... i was litterally fighting a 3 front war against them... of the first 10 cities i had... i swear 3-4 of them were barbarian and the only reason i had units to make a first strike against khan when i went to war with him on the side of egypt..

I have had this weird problem too in my games. I haven't been able to see in my games, but is there an AI player above the units, with you below, confusing the barbarians as to where they should go?

I've red somewhere in that Forum (My game is still not working @Firaxis :mad: ) that they wont pass your culturlal frontieres...
