4 big problems here.
1.General lag. OK, I probably just need a better computer, but the odd thing is, when I minmize the game then bring it up again, it works smoothly (for a while) .
2.Leaderhead problem. It just started tonight, I was playing as Arabia when I come across the Incas. Fine, except the leaderhead graphic was grey staticy stuff. Tried the minimizer, and lo and behold it worked. Still worried though... Then I find Roosevelt, EXACTLY the same thing happens. Am I cursed?
3.Sound problems. In most movies, there is the occasional break of sound (every few seconds). Didn't happen with Stonehenge, for some reason...
4.And last but most certainly not least... the blue screen of doom. After a good long session, my beautiful Civ4 screen was replaced by this hideous monstrosity. Said windows had shut down because of a problem, then ranted on about new hardware and software.... This has happened to me twice, and once to my friend who also has Civ4.
I don't know if it makes any difference, but I'm in the UK and with the DVD-ROM. Any help with any problem is greatly appreciated.
