This might be an easy question for those of you who are experts in Conquest:

When I right-click on any of my cities, there is an option called "Contact city governor". When I go to that page, it has many options where I can emphasize on some of the city products and imporvements. What exactly does this option do? How can it affect my civ and my cities.

Thnx for any help :D

There are some build often/rarely/never options for various things that I ignore; they're only useful if you don't set the build queues yourself. The governor can manage several things; I think the only useful one for people who don't want to micromanage is manage moods (so the city won't riot). If the governor emphasizes the various things, he's more likely to choose a tile with more food, shields, or gold. I use emphasize production because only shields are calculated after growth (theoretically, there could be a situation where emphasize commerce would be useful, but I haven't found that situation in-game); the other two could be useful for those who don't want to micromanage (for example, emphasize food for corrupt cities with specialists).
