The MIA Acropolis:
Last Updated: 1550 BC
A Word from the Outgoing President:
Citizens of MIA,
It has been an honor and a privilege to serve you as your President for these past 40 turns.
Thank you for giving me this opportunity. I hope you had as much fun as I did.
I look forward to continuing to serve as a private citizen, or whatever office you give me in the future.
Long live MIA
:salute:
PS – you're all invited to the Acropolis for a "Transition of Power" party to give me the boot and welcome our new President… Chamnix!

Tourist Guide:
The Walk of Presidents: Take time to stroll down the walk of presidents. Waving in the gentle breeze, you'll see the presidential banners of past and current presidents of MIA.
Banners Displayed: 1) Classical Hero, 2) General_W, 3) Chamnix
The Rottweil-taurus: Guardian of MIA. Staked out in front of the Acropolis as a warning to any potential enemies – no one can visit the acropolis without passing this monumental reminder that MIA will fight when it is necessary.
Names inscribed: Rujikin and M4 Sherman
Diplomatic Monuments: To the left of the Acropolis you'll find strewn wreckage – representing the future state of all enemies of MIA. There's also monuments to the Empires who made contact with us – the D'nut Curragh and the KISS warrior. There's also a monument to Fe3333au – Diplomat and Foreign minister extraordinaire.
The Chamnix Abacus: Look closely at the base of the steps of the Acropolis – there you'll see 2x life size replica of the actual abacus that Domestic Minister Chamnix used to create his legendary "Spreadsheets of Glory."
The Peter Grimes Defense Shield: Tourists with an eagle eye may notice the portrait of our Defense Minister on the shield of the Royal Guard watching over those visiting the Acropolis. Although he suffered charges of corruption and the most active political battle for office to-date – Peter Grimes' term was marked by relative peace and security – with only minor trouble from barbarians.
The Team Captain Markers: Make sure you stop and admire the Acropolis Step markers that are dedicated to the brave men who have served as Captain of the MIA team. These overseers of the Constitution and representatives to the UN have ensured smooth team operation and have kept MIA out of the worst of the mudslinging that goes on between the other barbaric teams.
We'll keep adding more as MIA history continues to be written. Make your vacation plans now!
