In a recent inland sea game Ghandi failed to found any coastal cities but that didn't stop him making his presence felt on the waves, oh no...:confused:

I guess the most obvious explanation is that the boat is built by Isabella and gifted to India though why the AI would chose to do such a thing is beyond me (Also the boat is not there 5 turns previous).

maybe its the result of border push, maybe the ship went into your territory, but then i disallowed open border, then, this ship is pushed here

I think this is a slight bug, due to the AI for some reason ending an open borders agreement. The ship would then be teleported to the nearest friendly square, which unfortunately for Ghandi is this one tile lake. Possibly something needs to be tweaked here...

Ah, the open borders explanation sounds reasonable. I guess that is just tough luck for Ghandi then. No matter I have put him out of his misery.:D
