I've been looking over the Mod boards with more and more interest lately.

There are some fantastic mods being working on.

Once a number of them get completed, I'd like some opinions on creating a CFC Mod Pack.

My initial idea would be to have a poll and choose the best of the best to be combined together into one Mod Pak.

I realize its too early to put it together now, but I think its something that we as a community should start thinking about.

I like the idea BUT...
I remember watching as Apolyton built its Civ III mod after that game came out. And waiting. And waiting. And waiting. As I recall, their extra civs mod came out just after Play the World was released, making it irrelevant.

My point? A collaboration among the makers of existing mods to combine their features sounds great. In fact, I really hope someone writes a tool to allow you to apply multiple mods over each other and modify the files appropriately. But beware of design by committee or search for "consensus."
