As has been said in the main thread, the game starts once the first patch is out. This is mostly due the (rather massive) peace treaty negotiation exploit, which will be fixed in the patch. Since the patch is now at QA stage, we should (hopefully) see it in the next few days.

What is the QA stage of a patch?

QA == Quality Assurance - basically, its final checking that they haven't made some horrendous mistake.

Glad to get those glaring mistakes, exploits fixed. And we can get GOTM going.

I hope they fix the AI to be willing to give over tech when your foot is on their throat. The "I will trouble you no more" capitulation was wholy appropriate, and I don't understand why they got rid of it. When I've got 20 tanks outside of your last city, I don't want to hear a bunch of lip. Just hand over the tech, and you can be a nice little vassal state. You can keep your flag and everything. Promise.
