So I just bought civ 3 at wally world for under 10 bucks and installed on an older computer running win 98. It installed fine, but when I went to play an error message popped up saying it requires 98se at least.

Anyway around this? Or am i screwed?

If it says it requires W98SE, I would assume it means it requires W98SE - it can't get simpler. If you don't have it, the game won't work. Period.
