Does a catapult deal collateral damage when he atacks an does not manages to hurt the unit itīs fighting?

not sure, were you trying to kill a tank with a catapult :lol: ?

If you load up worldbuilder and give the enemy a tank and afew units and give yourself a catapult right next to it, think you could figure out that one by testing

well, it´s more about of a catapult against longbow [atack 5 vs defense 6 with fist strikes and lots of defensive bonuses, it´s not nos weir i get defeated without getting a hit.

If you use your catapult against unit, you will almost lose it.
But the collaterage dammage is huge.

I used around 5 or 6 catapults in ordert to attack a city.
I bombarding in order to decrease to 0% the city defense.
Then I sacrifice 2 or 3 catpults in order to make collateral dommage to units defending the city. Then I attack with differend kind of units after checking all the odds;
