I've just put together the Belgariad map.
Anyone who's read David Eddings 's Belgariod or Mallorean
may appreciate this.
I've also added all the races that were involved in the Belgariad.
It's not perfect but it's pretty entertaining.
Let me know what you think.

Hi! I just recently picked up Civ3 for Mac and it is devouring my free time quite thoroughly! :D
I just started a game of your mod, and although it looks pretty interesting so far, I have a few questions.
1) Strategic resources don't appear on my map, or else they are extremely, extremely rare. Is that the case, or what?
2) The Civilization Advances tree seems kinda strange looking, what's going on?
Keep up the good work, and I hope to hear back from you! New versions of this mod are welcome! Also, if you are a fan of Lord of the Rings, do you plan on building a mod for that? Has anybody else done this already?

Not bad actually, but I believe setting the starting locations to the civs who represent those who were there would be useful.
Also, as you seem to know about the belgariad and Mallorean, have you ever read the Elenium and Tamuli (Two three book sets linked together) or The Redemption of Althalus? Those would make good maps too.

Worldywarrior, it is always good to check the date of a thread. :nono:
This was posted more than two years ago, and avatarr only has one post, so I think it's safe to assume he or she has left this site and/or the game a long time ago.
This map was made in the dawn of time when it wasn't possible to set the starting location of civs, but if you like the map you can do it yourself in the editor.
