Hi,

I made a little mod and I want to play it with some people by PBEM. If you're interrested, mail me at bevertje@gmail.com. Do not forget to mention your nickname on civ fanatics forum, your password for the game and the civ/leader you want to be. Better make a top 3... :)

EDIT: could you also mention your time zone and when you're normally playing. It's gonna be handy to define the turn order.

I was thinking of a normal continent map with 8 players.

Changes with the mod:

Techtree:
- Build Winery by Pottery instead of Monarchy : read this on the forum, pretty obvious, grapes don't need a king to grow.
- Build Cottage by Monarchy instead of Pottery : read this on the forum, and it slows commerce in the beginning of the game
- Reveal Uranium by Fission instead of Physics : read this on the forum, pretty obvious, although Uranium was used before men discovered Fission, we never used it as nuclear power before

Traits:
- Financial trait receives +1 commerce on tiles with 3+ commerce, was 2+
- Industrious trait receives +1 hammer on tiles with 3+ hammers, was +50% wonder production
- Spiritual still has no Anarchy, but all others have more.
(max 3 in quick game, max 4 in normal game, max 8 in epic game)

Other:
- No maximum National Wonders in a city.

Players:
Bevertje - bevertje@gmail.com - Qin Shi Huang - GMT+1 - playing between 9 am - 9 pm GMT
Corossol - corrosol.civ@gmail.com - Ghandi - GMT-5

I'd play with the techtree mods, but the trait mods are too unbalancing, especially the Spiritual trait and Anarchy.

Sounds fun! I'll try. Details are e-mailed.

I think that the traits are ballanced with the mod. Financial is less powerfull, as is Industrious. Spiritual has a use now. We're going to play on a normal map, so when you change 5 civics at the same moment, you will have 5 turns off anarchy, that is something to evade, while spiritual leaders can change them without penalty. If you change one civic at the same moment, you still have one turn of anarchy, that doesn't change. Change religion takes 2 turns.

I just did some tests with the mod. Apparently you can have a maximum of 4 (not 5) turns of anarchy on normal speed, if you change 5 civics at one moment. The changing of a religion is still one turn (not 2).

Sorry for the mistakes, I made some wrong calculations.
