I wanted to go retro and play this against my brother, but the game requires I have the latest patch (4.36 or so). However, when I am pointed to mirrors for the patch download by the game, and when I have searched for them on google, I have not found a working place to download. File not found. Is the game too out of date to be saved?

Latest patch can be gotten from the official site, just downloaded it yesterday for my sister as a matter of fact. http://unrealtournament.com/utgoty/downloads.php
You do however need to supply an e-mail (doesnt need to be real) and DOB but gives you a list of hosts to choose from. Also grab the OpenGL update for your ini file so it runs well.
