Gamasutra recently posted a first look at A Force More Power (http://www.gamasutra.com/features/20051201/demaria_02.shtml), a turn-based strategic game where players form a revolution through non-violent means. The article references Civilization & Sim City, and the game looks like an interesting diversion from the old Pikemen & Tanks routine.
Do you think gamers will like it?
EDIT: Link fixed.

Your link doesn't seem to work. Instead of the article, I see a login screen (which is kind of pointless since I don't have a Gamasutra account).

Good concept, but I'm leery of its execution. I say this because the thrill of games like Politburo or Junta is in the politicking between you and your opponents.
Political maneuvering is an intellectual contest. For AFMP to be really fun, I fear it will require truly superior AI, and I have yet to see any that's up to the task. I would love to be wrong, however...so I may have to buy it just to give it a try.

Hmmm, I think I've heard of them from somewhere.

Mods, can this be moved to a more appropriate forum?
