Anyone here ever played Zork? :D I have. I just have to say that these are some of the best text adventures ever, and that everyone should go online and get them.

Here are my favorites in no order-

Zork I, Zork II, Zork III, Beyond Zork, Zork 0, and has anyone heard of Planetfall? It is a really cool game by the same creators.

HA! I remember that guy, his name is Booze, right? I remember our glory days of rye drinking... and ending up outside...

But that game isn't interesting besides him... and it is so easy! I have beaten Morpheus plenty of times at survivor! (Moodock says" Pull up a char', I'll teach ya the game of Survivor")

But have you ever tried the text adventures? They actually have to do with the history of Zork, and are hard. Dungeon Master, anyone? If you don't know the history of Zork, better learn, it is fascinating. The flatheads, or Duncanthrax, ever heard of them?

I especially liked Zork 0, it had colour, and the main goal was straightfoward. Plus, there was a magic wand:D

Almost all of the Infocom games were quality. The Zorks were the flagships and did a good job of mixing comedy and adventure. They also gave us the most terrifying monster never seen, the Grue.

The sorcerer games were good too, and one of them even featured a cameo from a certain "weary and bedragled adventurer" from Zork fame.

Planetfall was good, as was Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. There were also the mystery ones where you were supposed to solve a murder without getting killed yourself.

Good games.

Zork was the first text game I played - it was challenging to find the right questions to ask at each point and much fun was had with mapping the whole game space!
