I don't know if I'm overstepping my bounds but I think it might be cool if our civilization had some sort of Economy-based advisory group to help set our monetary policy (ie. how much we we spend here and there and what we recommend our cities to build).

I suggest it be a total ADVISORY-based organization were it's member hold no offices but the government will certainly look to us for recommendations. Would it be alright if I began work on creating such a board?

If you like I could also draft up some "boards" for the diplomatic corps or the military council or whatever you wish.

Again this is all confusing as I am new and this isn't the easiest layout to navigate just yet.

and I'm a little testy because I just got womped in Civ IV by the comp and my pride is in tatters!

The game hasn't started - in fact, we still haven't decided what positions we will have (Minister of War, Minister of Trade, etc.).

There will probably be an office that deals with the budget, where citizens can make requests and advise them on how to allocate funds.
