My new menu buttons replace the old triangle, square, and circle. All the images are from within Civ3 itself.

Please advise what the square with the Letter C means. I see it all the time?

Usually when you see that little book with the C on it, you have your cursor over something in the game that has a Civilopedia entry, and by clicking, you can read said info.

I took the little book and made it also serve as the resident screen icon to access the Civilopedia.

Version 4 corrects a square artifact around each icon that I noticed recently, and fixes some pixels.

What may have been the original Civ3 design inspired these alternates, as seen in the Civilization III Instruction Manual pp. 22, 51, 56, 144, 147, 164 (USA First Edition, September 2001). Especially p. 164, in Chapter 15 “Reference: Screen by Screen,” where it labels the Menu and Civilopedia buttons.

I like these, but Sid's disembodied head is a bit unnerving. :D
