1. ... I would like to thank Ginger_Ale, RegentMan and Rik Meleet ... through whose efforts all this would still be an idea discussed in the world of What If ... what a wonderful perspective you three must have
2. ... To all the players I have personally met in chat and correspondence, sometimes made and hastily exchanged ... I hope that they have been as enjoyable to you as they have for me :D
3. ... My team mates, it is a constant delight and an education to play the game in your company ... I really enjoy the process of exploring and experimenting that we share.
4. ... the Legion of Silent Lurkers, I'd love for you to overcome your shyness and ... SPEAK UP !!! :p
5. To All of You, I trust that you continue to enjoy this gaming experience ... it is ultimately there to have fun ... and remember :nono: not get too ...
http://www.civfanatics.net/uploads10/XmasTreeFireMontage.jpg ... Fired Up !!! :mischief:
Have a Safe and Enjoyable Holiday  ... and let it not distract you too much from our game :goodjob:

Snowy flakes around his head.

Daghdha Dec 21, 2005, 08:56 AM Thanks everyone for a great game so far. Wheelings, dealings, friendship, lies, war, gifts, expansion, explosion, hugs and bugs. Keep it up and go easy on the gluhwine...
Whomp Dec 22, 2005, 02:07 PM From all of us at KISS:
We wish that you accept with no obligation, implied or implicit our best wishes for a socially responsible, low stress, non-CFC addictive, gender neutral, celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasions and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at al...and a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling, and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2006, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make CFC great, (not to imply that CFC is necessarily greater than any other forum or is the only "civ site" in the world) and without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith, or sexual preference of the wishees. By accepting this greeting, you are accepting these terms. This greeting is subject to clarification or withdrawal. It is freely transferable with no alteration to the original greeting. It implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for her/himself or others, and is void where prohibited by law, and is revocable at the sole discretion of the wishers. This wish is warranted to perform as expected within the usual application of good tidings for a period of one year, or until the issuance of a subsequent holiday greeting, whichever comes first, and warranty is limited to replacement of this wish or issuance of a new wish at the sole discretion of the wishers.
:D :xmas:
donsig Dec 22, 2005, 02:43 PM Recapping the action so far: Team MIA took an early lead with the 12 Days of MTDG post but Team KISS has now pulled ahead with the old one - two. The first a post of questionable taste but unquestionable humor and the second a hilarious though very politically correct - and legally safe - seasonal greeting. Teams TNT and Doughnut lag far behind as they fight over goats.
Kickbooti Dec 22, 2005, 03:33 PM Now you can all see why Whomp is our leader.
His statement puts my attempt at non-offfensiveness to shame. Never the less,
Happy ChanaChristmaKwanzaDon!
Whomp Dec 22, 2005, 03:34 PM Teams TNT and Doughnut lag far behind as they fight over goats.Come on Donsig don't try to pull the wool over our eyes. Who's getting fleeced on the goat deal? Not that I'm trying to milk this thing or anything.
Admiral Kutzov Dec 22, 2005, 06:25 PM Happy Holidays to all. Idiot greetings and such. Whomp is our leader because he is literate (IIrc, that means he sends presents to all those who praise him)
@ all - be nice to FE, he is having an extremely stressfully holiday (no f-bombs)
classical_hero Dec 24, 2005, 06:01 AM @ all - be nice to FE, he is having an extremely stressfully holiday (no f-bombs)
It is his job to get fired up. If I were him I would be ready to explode at any minute, not being able to do his job. :D
