I am making a small scenario for CIV3 Vinilla (that dirty word: yes, I said it) and I am wondering if it is possible (and a guide/link please) to mod in the following things:
Making cities borders enlarged (9 squares to 21 squares)(I know this is possible).
Making all civs know each other at the start.
Making all civs be able to see everything as explored on the first turn, but the same LOS.
I dont have PTW or C3C, and this is my first scenario attempt.

hi there. i'm not sure if the vanilla editor will allow for it but here goes:
you can enlarge the borders by adding culture points to the cities in the editor. the higher you go the larger the territorial swath will be.
all civis are able to 'know each other' if you flag each civi with the 'Starts With Embassies' flag.
you can enable it so that all civis can 'see' the entire map by flagging the 'Reveal Entire Map' box.

Well for meeting each other, a weird looking way is having scout units from every civ be stuck together on one island. Then every civ should meet each other quickly. For culture size, right-click the city, press properties, press cities, and then put in numbers. I think 5 gets you the fat cross, try it out with a couple of numbers. I dont know how to do map, maybe you should have something like satellite tech in beggining so map is revealed quickly.

10 gets you the fat X, not 5 and i don't think the "reveal map" flag is available in vanilla
why is civ 3 vanilla called vanilla?

Because its plain civ 3.
Vanilla is plain.
