The new patch adds the Marathon games speed, I'm guessing that your mod must overwrite the CIV4GameText_New XML file which contains the name for the menu. just put in
<TEXT>
<Tag>TXT_KEY_GAMESPEED_MARATHON</Tag>
<English>Marathon</English>
<French>Marathon</French>
<German>Marathon</German>
<Italian>Marathon</Italian>
<Spanish>Marathon</Spanish>
<Russian>Marathon</Russian>
<Japanese>Marathon</Japanese>
<Chinese>Marathon</Chinese>
</TEXT>
<TEXT>
<Tag>TXT_KEY_GAMESPEED_MARATHON_HELP</Tag>
<English>This extremely long game speed will allow almost an entire normal game's worth of turns for each era.</English>
<French>This extremely long game speed will allow almost an entire normal game's worth of turns for each era.</French>
<German>This extremely long game speed will allow almost an entire normal game's worth of turns for each era.</German>
<Italian>This extremely long game speed will allow almost an entire normal game's worth of turns for each era.</Italian>
<Spanish>This extremely long game speed will allow almost an entire normal game's worth of turns for each era.</Spanish>
<Russian>This extremely long game speed will allow almost an entire normal game's worth of turns for each era.</Russian>
<Japanese>This extremely long game speed will allow almost an entire normal game's worth of turns for each era.</Japanese>
<Chinese>This extremely long game speed will allow almost an entire normal game's worth of turns for each era.</Chinese>

In the file I mentioned and I think it'll be fixed, It worked for me anyway. Hope this helped.

SoCalian

ok I'll probbably add some more cities the next update. I should also clean it up a bit and make it compatible with the new patch.

Cool. I noticed that San Francisco is misspelled, as is Sonoma.

Also, how come you SF listed as the second city after Sac (I don't really care, I was just wondering what directed your ordering?)

Also, by Californianos, are you meaning the Californios?

You should probbably get Emporer Norton I as a leader
he was some crazy guy who made himself emporer of the US and protecter of Mexico. just a thought otherwise sounds good

Why not include Schwarzenegger as a leader and the Golden Gate Bridge as a wonder?

Because the Golden Gate Bridge was destroyed by the X-Men. Have Disneyland instead.

Because the Golden Gate Bridge was destroyed by the X-Men.

Ooh, Magneto as the UU hopefully! No aircraft would be safe ...

Hope you included Alcatraz as a place too .. ;) look forward to playing it!

This thread is a year and a half old. I don't think work is still going on somehow. Please stop bringing back old, dead threads.
