:bump: Just making sure this thread does not disappear. :D
A question for the Candidates: The Office of Censor allows for great flexibility in deciding how to run the office, will you be one who shows up everyday and creates all official threads or will you clean up after the fact with a moderators help?

As an elected leader, I think it would be my place to take the lead in creating the discussion threads and official polls that are necessary for those five areas where the Assembly has total jurisdiction (city placement, wonder placement, declarations of war/peace, civics, rate changes).
Beyond those five areas, though, I don't feel it would be necessary or proper for this office to take the lead. There are other officials that are concerned with these areas, for example. It would also set a precedent for a heavy workload on this office's part, which might dissuade future excellent candidates. Lastly, and perhaps most dangerously, it could kill individual citizen initiative in various areas for which they may have an interest.
For these other decisions, I would simply proclaim a set of standards at the start of the term (probably based on the excellent work of the Civ3 Demogame's various Polling Standards Commisssions) and validate polls after they have been posted.

Chances are I'd let the moderators do the lion's share of the work. =(
