Hi all,

Since Traxis could open the save I sent him no problem it would seem that wcis is the cause of the problem. Could anyone else open the save that i sent? If it is just wcis that cant open it then he has 24 hours to fix the problem or i will get in another player to replace him. Sorry to sound like a prick wcis but we gotta get this thing started

Sorry for all the trouble. I uninstalled the game and manually removed the game folder but it still won't work:mad: . So I must retire from the game (alt - q):(

the save works fine for me - will just wait till someone sends me a save to play plus the instructions whose turn is next :)

@wcis: have you checked that your Civ4 data in "Documents and Settings" is removed as well? could be that something still resides there

Dont' sweat it wcis. Iv'e edited the first post to advertise for another player to fill wcis' spot. Hopefully someone signs up today, then i'll figure out another turn order and start a new game tonight

OK everyone I've sent xyour an email with a PBEM save to make sure his machine will accept future saves. I think I'll slot him in at #4 in the playing order so that Traxis gets his turn by 11pm(local) each night.
Is this ok with you Traxis?
As soon as xyour replies and Traxis gives me the nod about the playing order I will gen and send to uaVal :)

OK the playing order is settled, all i need is the reply mail from 'xyour' to confirm that he can load the save and then WE ARE GO!

may I advise you to edit your post so that your email doesn't appear in proper format? e.g. take the @ out and write [AT] instead. Otherwise, the bots scouring this forum will add you to every spamlist in the universe.

sorry guys but xyour still hasn't replied to my mail. I'll PM him now and if he doesn't reply by the morning i'll boot him and just start with us 4 (it will be a quicker game anyway). Sorry for all the delays :(

OK I"ve just booted xyour by PM and am gonna start a game with us 4 ...I'm so sick of waiting. Since we're down to 4 i think EITHER a small map will be fine (much quicker game) OR throw in a few monarch AI on a standard map with all other settings unchanged. What do ya think??

Personally i reckon a standard map with a 4 human and 3 monarch AI would play out really well :)
