Kaiserguard Dec 25, 2005, 09:05 AM The new version of WOTT is ready!
New minor nations (These wont be selectable but will appear as AI adversary)
-Including Neutrals to make it interesting
WWI style units
UU for every major nation
Issues:
No Europe map yet (Try Arne's map with the mod)
Some flags wont appear (I need help from some1 willing to fix it, as I tried everything)
Some errors at start (Some are fixable, some are absolutely useless and irritating)

Leif Dec 25, 2005, 05:41 PM Every time I start Civ 4 the mod starts and I can't load up the normal civ. I'm either about to delete and reinstall the entire game or simpily reinstall the parts I need. One way or another, it is because of your mod.
-edit-
Scratch that, I am unable to load anything other than this mod.
I'm re-installing it right now.
Now actually about your mod.
Other than the fact that you can't play any other mod or the normal game, it still needs work. If you start out in the pre dark ages then don't limit the civics to socialism and fascism, either start out in the turn of the centuary or include other civics.
Kaiserguard Dec 26, 2005, 02:06 AM But youre supposed to play the game in the Modern ages, you can easily make a modern start and try custom game (Than ,this mod is in its full glory).
Robo Magic Man Jan 07, 2006, 07:11 PM I like the premise of your mod, and you have some good art files, but the mod is full of bugs, and in my opinion, is nowhere near finished. If you want some help, I'd really like to help you turn this into a really great mod. I'm no expert, but I have some good skinning and xml experience. PM me if you're interested.
Also, I noticed the Turkish unit is a Sipahi, but that isn't a WWI era unit. The turks had gunpowder at the time, so wouldn't a gunpowder unit make more sense?
Granias Jan 13, 2006, 04:06 PM I tried it and I must say, it looks great! But like Robo said here it's full of bugs! Then I tried playing it, and after a few minutes the whole game shut down instantly. Nevertheless a good job!
Kaiserguard Jan 14, 2006, 04:19 AM Thx for the comments, I have the next version almost ready. I am still performing some checks, but nearly all the bugs are out if there (You can startup the mod without ANY errors and I think you wont get exeptional things), though I have some strange diplomacy bugs wherefore I need a very experienced modder to help.
Granias Jan 14, 2006, 05:31 AM Sounds good! Perhaps you can post some of your bugs here? Maybe some of us can help :)
jlocke Mar 09, 2006, 07:16 PM I'm working on a WWI map.
I hope to use this mod, but with some customizations to fit.
I don't know how many will be playable
So far my civ plan is:
1.GBR
2.RUS
3.GER
4.FRA
5.AUS/HUN
6.TUR
7.ITA
8.ALB
9.SERB
10.GRE
11.POR
12.BEL
13.ROMania
14.BUL
15.maybe Montenegro
NEUTRALS: DEN/NOR/SWE/SPA/SWI/NETH
So far most of Russia, Germany and Turkey is done...
but I still need to add all these custom civs...
anyone who wants to help or contribute or comment in anyway is much welcome.
DonaldClotts Apr 09, 2006, 10:17 AM Jlocke, I am interested in helping with your scenario creation in an informational aspect mostly. I am a senior History student at the University of Wisconsin and I graduate this May. Currently I and taking a course that covers WWI and I know a lot about the war now, but I don't have much creation experiance with Civ 4.
