Here's a multiplayer nation sim (http://sourceforge.net/projects/creo/).

You could get Superpower, but it's not really that fun.

It really isn't. Most of my games degenerate into nuclear war when I get frustrated at how poorly made the game is.

Can Croatia even afford nukes? Maybe if they sold of some of their very nice castles they might be able to get some old discount Soviet nukes.

 How does Croatia get picked by India to be attacked? I thought that game claimed to not know which country the human player controlled...

Had so much potential, I thought. Well, I've never played it...but I hope there would be something better soon.

Definately not the first one. Way too complicated for my tastes.

However Superpower 2 is AWESOME! Far less amateur looking, ability to customing unit graphics and create your own units, real time strategy, and fairly easy to get into and understand. It was one of the games that I got hooked on for a while. I find it great to be able to bring a 3rd world country to becoming one of the most powerful, if not thee most powerful, nation in the region. But I find it difficult to make other nations wage war against me so I can get a good excuse to annex them. ;) But I think playing as one of the nuclear nations is fun as I can just launch all my missiles at Russia and cause WW3. :D
