Low = most land
High = least land

Low= more land to settle, take, fight over, [what every your preference], etc.

I personally prefer less land. That way, the later game doesn't take forever, and we don't lose participation because of the complexity involved.

Random, with choosing pretty much every other variable of the landscape would be good to have a surprise, even if its only a very small one.
