Should we ask Thunderfall for a subforum for citizen groups and political parties?

I believe we need one as the political traffic is overrunning debate in the citizens forum.

I don't think it's a big deal. They've contained themselves to their threads, and it's not as though they interrupt the business of the game.

If anything, we should simply convert the warm-up game forum into a forum for 'Civic Organizations,' so it can include the parties, the citizen's groups, and roleplayers (if that ever gets started).

I dont really think we need ANOTHER subforum, i like octavians idea if we really need one, couldnt they just stay where they are though?

I will vote a cautious Yes.

No one can question the increased activity of organized group/party threads this time out, nor their potential to drown out important discussions that drive our nation. My only fear is that one subforum or the other may end up getting ignored.

with legalized parties we should push for another subforum. the traffic is too much and when the game actually starts that forum will be overrun

That would be a good way to go. If vb is implemented the right way, renaming a forum should be a matter of changing the value of a single database table row.

I agree with Octavian there. Converting the Warmup forum to a Citizens' Group forum is a great idea.

Yes! I suggest making it a subforum of the citizen's forum.

I fail to see the reason for this.

If political parties are to be significant part of the DG, then they should be in the Citizen's forum. If they are merely spam, or RPG threads, create an RPG forum and place them there.

No, lets keep citizen type stuff in one forum, its already hard going through 3 forums to keep up on a discussion, lets not add a fourth

I agree with Octavian IF the party-threads get moved to this new forum. OTOH I cannot see why a subforum would harm and it would make the forum as a whole more structured...
