Hey.

Lately, inorder to win a space race, I use large numbers of Nuclear weapons (last game I had used over 125) Yet, despite being at war with several large highly advanced (and only slightly nuked) civs, not 1 has fired back, or even built a nuke. Will the AI build and use Nukes on Noble?

hat!? 125 nuclear weapons!? Hey, we are talking abt 125 expensive ICBM here, not 125 cheap warriors! Anyway, one way to distract them from building spaceship parts is to declare war on them. Incidentally, instead of ICBMs, u should build modern tanks, stealth planes and mech infantries to overrun their cities.

Yeah, but, I am really lazy, have a powerful industrial base, and I am seperated from the remaining players by water. Pressing N is just too appealing.

The question remains, will the AI use nukes?

I have yet to see the AI use a nuke. I haven't gone to diety yet though.

Perhaps the reason the AI has not yet retaliated with nuclear weapons of their own is that they are being decimated by your raining death upon them 125 times over, lol.

I have *never* build SDI, and I have *never* built a nuke, but still have
never been nuked. I don't think the AI knows what they are :)

Why build nukes on noble instead of SS parts?
*SHOCKED*

I also never had a nuclear war (although I sometimes fired nuclear weapons after finishing the game, just for curiosity ;) )

AFAIR there was one part of Civ which was really good in simulating nuclear warfare (espacially MAD), with having each of your Nukes targetting a certain enemy city and all of the weapons which pointed at cities of a certain civ being fired as soon as this civ fired a nuke upon you.

AFAIR it was Civ III.

No, that was Call to Power 2.
