Could mod authors please comment all their changes, if only to tag them begin & end, with the author and/or mod name?

Since running any more than one mod demands merging of mods, this would make the process much easier... I've seen several mix-mods here that the authors just couldn't keep up with trying to merge changes from so many sources without comments...

Myself, I use kdiff3 to do a 3-way compare against original files, but with files that have already been edited four or five times, it's hard to tell what comes from which mod. This really becomes a problem when trying to change versions of an already installed mod...

Comments would really help out the situation.

I will help out when I do my mods, but I won't be commenting in all the files. Instead, I will put comments and notes in my changelog about which files were modded, values and line numbers. Having tons of comments in every file might make them too clumsy to sift through to get work done. That should help some I hope.
