I thought it would be quite interesting to get some facts and a little inside info on teams from their fans, try not to slag each others teams off;) I might as well start it off.:)

My team: Chelsea FChttp://www.mychelseafc.com/images/badge_new1.jpg

Nickname: Blues, Super-blues, Rentboys:rolleyes:

Team colours: What haven't we had? currently Blue, Black, Light Blue

Founded: 1905

Local Rival(s): Fulham

Titles: League title - 1955, 2005
FA Cup - 1970, 1997, 2000
League Cup - 1965, 1998, 2005
Community Shield - 1955, 2000, 2005
Cup Winners Cup - 1971, 1998
Super Cup - 1998

How your team is doing now: After being bought in 2003 by a Russian billionaire, Chelsea were able to outbid other teams to get the players they wanted and with a manager who knows how to get the best out of a team Chelsea have gone from strength to strength, winning the premier league in the 04/05 season and only losing one league match this season.

Favorite currant player : Eidur Gudjohnsen (2000 - present)

Favorite all time player: not being alive to see the greats of yesteryear i would have to go with Zola, who was with the club from 1996 to 2003

Now why don't YOU tell us all a little about your wonderful team? All teams and leagues welcome:)

My team: FC Portohttp://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/sv/6/65/FC_Porto_emblem.png

The badge is a blue ball, 19th/early 20th century style, with the initials FCP to which the city coat of arms was added. Surrounding the coat of arms is a medal awarded by the portuguese state to the club and that was also added later on. On top of it all, the dragon, with a banner that says "Invicta" (invincible), which comemorates the fact that the city of Porto was the only continental city that never surrendored (sp?) to the absolutist army in the 1830-34 civil war.

Nickname: Dragões (Dragons), Tripeiros for our rivals

Team colours: Blue&white vertical stripes on the shirt, blue shorts, either white or blue socks. Blue and white were the colours of the monarchy. The club was founded before the instauration of the republic.

Founded: 1893

Local Rival(s): Boavista
National Rival(s): Benfica, Sporting

Titles:
Championship of Portugal - 1921/22; 1924/25; 1931/32; 1936/37
League titles - 1934/35; 1938/39; 1939/40; 1955/56; 1958/59; 1977/78; 1978/79; 1984/85; 1985/86; 1987/88; 1989/90; 1991/92; 1992/93; 1994/95; 1995/96; 1996/97; 1997/98; 1998/99; 2002/03, 2003/04
Portuguese Cup - 1955/56; 1957/58; 1967/68; 1976/77; 1983/84; 1987/88; 1990/91; 1993/94; 1997/98; 1999/00; 2000/01; 2002/03
Supercup - 1980/81; 1982/83; 1983/84; 1985/86; 1989/90; 1990/91; 1992/93; 1993/94; 1995/96; 1997/98; 1998/99; 2000/01; 2002/03; 2003/04
Champions League - 1986/87; 2003/2004
UEFA Cup - 2002/2003
European Supercup - 1987/88
Intercontinental Cup - 1987/88; 2004/05

How your team is doing now: Currently the club is recovering from the hangover of the Champions League victory in 2004, and prety much all the chmapion players are now gone. Last season was the worst in many years, with 3 coaches and an erratic player policy. This season things are better, but the idiocy of the coach costed us the Champions League qualification in a very easy group. In the league, after many atempts, he finally seems to have found a balanced team, and since then, we've been cruising and now lead the league with a 6 points lead.

Favorite currant player : Ricardo Quaresma (since 2004) and Lucho Gonzalez (since 2005), both world class players. Alongside Diego, that makes our midfield very strong.

Favorite all time player: Too many to tell. Of those I've seen in my life time: Fernando Gomes, Rabah Madjer, Branco, Paulo Futre (all from the 80s), Vítor Baía, Domingos, Aloísio (from the 90s), Deco, Ricardo Carvalho (2000s).

My Team: The Columbus Crew http://images.google.com/images?q=tbn:P1p2q2bgVa4J:dwh.goal.com/multimedia/1057-6.jpg (hmm...picture not working)

Nickname: Er...the Crew. We get some derogatory nicknames, cause our logo kinda looks like the VIllage People

Team Colors -Black and Gold

Founded-Columbus was one of the first teams in the MLS, founded in 1996

Local Rivals-Our biggest rival is prob the DC United, since they've made a habit of beating us in the playoffs. Columbus also doesnt get along with with the Chicago Fire

Titles- US Open Cup 2002 (The Crew are one of the only MLS teams to have never even appeared in a title match. Ohio sports suck, what can i say?)

How the Club is doing now: Last season was a huge disapointment, as we missed the playoffs (something that rarely happens in crew history), and i think were shut out a league-record number of times. The club has made some offseason improvements, and there is some young talent...but i dont expect anything other than the first round this season

favorite current player- F Edson Bundle. really, the only guy on this team that can score

Favorite all team player- American football hero Brian McBride

UEFA Cup (1) - 1992

European Supercup (3) - 1972, 1973, 1995

World Cup (2) - 1972, 1995

How your team is doing now: After the sucesses of the '90ies Ajax entered a bad phase, which they seemed to get out of from 2002 with a lot of talented youngsters with a lot of perspective winning the double and getting to the quarter-finals of the championsleague. Since that year most of the talents have not developped on and currently Ajax is having one of the worst seasons in its history, being at a shameful fourth place with 12 points behind on leaders PSV.

Favorite currant player : Hedwiges Maduro (came from youth academy)

Favorite all time player: Johan Cruyff, Marco van Basten, Dennis Bergkamp, Jari Litmanen, Rafael van der Vaart

hey sucks for you matt, steven elliot just signed with Fulham like McBride did. why don't you just send Brad Friedel over there too, and you can have a Columbas Crew reunion(j/k, we, Blackburn rather like him). BTW, I'll be putting up LA Galaxy and Blackburn Rovers and maybey Seatle Sounders up in a bit.

Team Colours: Purple and Orange

Local Rivals: None

National Rivals: None yet, because the new league is only in it's first season.

Titles
Premiers: 2003, 2004 We were the last two winners of the Old NSL

How is your team doing now? They are currently fifth and are just outside of the top four and that will mean finals. We are one win away from third spot. Top spot looks to be sown up by Adelaide United, a team many thought would struggle. We are playing them next and a win will do a lot of good for the chances of playing in the finals.

FAW Cup - 2002

How your team is doing now:
After 20 years of moving back and forth between the bottom two professional leagues, in 2003 we got promoted from the second division via the playoffs, and are now mid table in the Championship (below the Premiership). Big promises about a Premiership future were abound when we won promotion to this division, and there were signings to match. Unfortunately, the gamble didn't pay off - last season was a relegation battle, and though we're still in the Championship, many of our best players were sold off and we remain in heavy debt. This season has been good so far - we are currently 10th in the Championship, having been in the playoffs prior to a dodgy Christmas period. There's still talk of progress despite financial concerns, and we currently await the start of construction on a new stadium.

Favourite Current Player: Jason Koumas

Favourite all time player: Well this is the best we've been during my time, so see above I guess.
