Ok, here it goes. I know this might be the wrong part of Civ4 forum to post such a thread, but i couldnt find anywhere else..

Im just wondering of something here. Is there a spesific time or place in the history where you go from 25 years/turn --> 1 year/turn, or is it something i must research?? I know this is a totally newbie question, but hey guess what! ;)

I really would appreciate if someone took the time to explain or at least tell me what i have to do (if there is anything..).

Thnx!

There is a specific point (several points, actually) where the number of years per turn changes. However, the number of years per turn doesn't really affect gameplay, it's just a cosmetic thing that lets you get a general feel for roughly where you are in the game.

About the only time I bother to look at what year it is is when the game is almost over. For the last 100 turns (and possibly a bit before that), it's 1 year per turn, so if it's, say, 1955, I know that I have 95 (2050-1955=95) turns left.

Ohh.. thanks man, i thought you were able to sort of discover yourself more time :P so to speak. So while the enemy is using the 10turn, you are already at 1turn, guess i was wrong :D
